The Healer
His chest hid a mercyful heart,
he came under the veil of night,
he did in peace and in menace
what [the] Hyppocratic Oath dictates
See no evil
he’s the healer
hear no evil
comes the healer
touch no evil
hail the healer
Christian fever
…blind, moor healer!

[I] see: the healer has something to say
his mouth is moving, cannot catch a word:
[the] battle noise is louder and louder
He knew no Christian, Jew and moor,
he either knew no rich or poor,
he practiced what they have just praised:
but once a “neighbor”‘s knife has raised…
